Although we meet together as a community on Sunday mornings, its important to remember that church is not an event that we attend weekly. To have true community and a thriving church we must continue to worship and experience community throughout the week. Feel free to comment on different discussion topics, share what the Lord has done in/for you, and check back often to see what we're focusing on together....

Nursery duty

This past Sunday night I was in the nursery and was unable to hear or blog about Diego's message. I hear it was great. Could you guys recap his message for me and share your comments, questions, and insights in the commens section? Or you can just email me at ryandhaack@hotmail.com.

Also, Darren emailed something to me that he wanted me to post. Here it is:

OK, I want to first off thank each and everyone that has prayed, invested their time and money, and all around just been an awesome family to me.

My challenge to you; welcome the next ones in, as you have welcomed me. BUT, that it wouldn't take a poster, but you personally to bring them into The Journey.

Second, never grow weary in helping those that may not be able to pay back, or you would think would take advantage of you. God knows how to repay you for being faithful.

Third, a community insolvent means you get out into the community. And NOT just to the parts of the community you are comfortable with. But to all parts. The drunken students, the homeless, those who no one seems to pay attention to.

Fourth, I want to say, that The Journey will always be a very big part of my life, and you all will have a very special place in my heart.

Because I do not know when I'll get on line-to respond to me personally, just email me at

Daren_Wrasse@yahoo.com

Thanks again for everything, and God bless you all.

Daren
